| |
Introduce the concept of the collective decision making. This course will help the students understand how the economic institutions work. For instance, how do we design an efficient mechanism to transform the individual preferences into a desirable social outcome? Such mechanisms will include the majority voting rule, voluntary contribution, plurality rule, etc. Eventually, the students will be able to know how to construct an economic institution with a truth-telling feature. |
