This course can be broadly divided four ways:into theory, evidence,institution, and policy.All of these are subjects of investigation in International Money and Finance.Important new developments have appeared in diverse areas such as theoretical innovations in the general equilibrium theory of exchange rate determination;explanations for the relative immobility of long-term capital alongside, apparently, highly mobile short-term capital; the behavior of exchange rates within an exchange fluctuation band ;theories of the best course of financial integration by countries previously largely divorced form the international circuit of capital. |

課程目標

This course is designed for current topics in international macroeconomics. There are a few fields will be discussed throughly in this class, and then students are responsible to find two topics to lead the discussion in the class. Students are expected to construct a survey of literature and presentation. |
